PanGeo Subsea are pleased to announce that we recently completed a survey in the Irish Sea for our Client using our SBI mounted onto Bibby Hydromap’s d’ROP system.
Our Client for this project commented in a news article “One key benefit of the PanGeo system over traditional pulse-induction technology is that the cable can remain in service throughout survey operations, resulting in a significant cost-saving for the operator”.
Originally designed for operation from predominantly work-class ROVs, PanGeo’s SBI provides a real-time 3D grid view of the sub seabed, accurately imaging pipelines, cables, umbilicals, concrete mattresses, ferrous and non-ferrous UXO’s and other buried objects.
PanGeo’s CEO, Bernie Morrison, commented “PanGeo is delighted to be involved on this project. Our joint aim was always to provide a high resolution but cost efficient survey solution for Clients and we are pleased to see that this is now happening”
