Last week, Phil Williams from our Business Development team was part of the Scottish Development International Trade Mission to China. Part of this mission was to exhibit PanGeo at the Scottish Pavilion Trade Stand at the China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE) in Beijing which was a great success. Even though the current downturn in the Oil and Gas Industry is having a huge knock on effect right around the world, we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of interest in our surveying products and technology – especially in such sectors as Infrastructure, Offshore Renewables and UXO location surveys. Apart from the Mission’s main focus in Beijing, the visit included meetings with clients in Shenzhen and Haikou Province.
